Meet Sharon, Development Director at St. Dominic School
Some of you might remember me as the school’s Physical Education teacher back in the early 2000s—these days, you’ll find me in a different role entirely as your Development Director! It’s been a joy watching our community grow, and there’s nothing quite like realizing some of our current students are the children of kids I once coached on the field.
In this role, I get to wear a lot of hats: connecting with prospective families, building relationships with our donors, writing grants that help fund the programs our students love, and keeping our school community informed and engaged. It’s a role built on the same thing that brought me back to teaching all those years ago—genuinely caring about this community and wanting to see it thrive.
I’m grateful for the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and get to know the newest members of our St. Dominic family. Here’s to another year of growth, connection, and fun together!
