St. Watch Coordinator

This position is responsible for overseeing the morning and afternoon St. Watch Program: planning activities and projects, covering for support staff as needed, and communicating with parents.  To offer a comfortable, relaxed, safe, nurturing, educational, and creative environment for children.

Position Qualifications and Duties
  • High School Degree
  • Experience working with children
  • Technology experience preferred
  • Be friendly and inviting
  • Be able to take work direction
  • Be able to adapt easily to changing situations
  • Able to communicate with parents, direct St. Watch staff, and the principal
3rd Grade Teacher

St. Dominic School is seeking an engaging, faith filled 3rd grade teacher, beginning with the 2023/2024 school year. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who is a team player and is eager to enhance the school experience for all students. St. Dominic School has intimate class sizes and a vibrant school community. The staff work together to provide students with high quality curriculum and opportunities to connect with and learn more about the Catholic faith.

General Responsibilities
  • Learn and deploy specialized instructional strategies such as the Groves Method
  • Actively participate in the school community
Position Qualifications and Duties
  • BA/BS Degree
  • A valid teaching license or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Be an actively practicing Catholic with a desire to share the faith with students
  • Successfully complete a background check
  • Ability and willingness to participate in the St. Dominic School faculty meetings
  • Classroom management
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from the principal
  • Ability to work well with colleagues
  • Keep supervisor and others appropriately informed
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines
  • Follow instructions and be able to complete tasks within appropriate timelines
  • Abide by conditions listed in the employee handbook
  • Communicate effectively with students and families
Physical Requirements
  • Able to attend school related activities
  • Able to climb stairs
