Hello! My name is Jackie Williams, and I am the School Counselor here at St. Dominic School! This is my first year at St. Dominic, and I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful school and community.
I am currently in my final semester of graduate school for School Counseling at St. Cloud State University. I also have a Master of Education in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the UW-River Falls and several years of experience working in schools in a variety of roles. Most recently, I worked as a College and Career Center Coordinator in a high school counseling office. Before working in schools, I spent several years in human services, supporting children and adults with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. I have always loved working with and supporting others, and I am especially excited to now have the opportunity to do that as a school counselor!
I grew up in Hastings and live there now with my two kids, Jackson (6) and Kenzie (4), and our dog, Belle. As a family, we love going to the zoo, playing at the park, cheering on Jackson at his baseball games, dancing around the living room, and doing just about any kind of arts and crafts! In my free time, I love to read, binge a good show, spend time with family and friends, and I am a huge Vikings fan!
I am really looking forward to getting to know the students and families at St. Dominic and having a great school year together!
