Hello all! My name is Mary Carson, and I am blessed to be the fourth-grade teacher at St. Dominic’s. I cherish being a witness to the Catholic faith and am privileged to walk with students on their journey to sainthood.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Catholic School Leadership in Mission and Culture at the Saint Paul Seminary, where I also completed my certificate in Catholic School Leadership. Additionally, I attended St. Kate’s for my Bachelor’s in elementary education with a middle-level (5-8) science endorsement and S.T.E.M certificate and my graduate certificate in academic technology integration.
I have taught students from preschool through high school at Catholic and public schools in south-central Minnesota. As a teacher, I strive to enrich my students’ academic, emotional, and spiritual learning through Catholic social justice teaching, differentiation, and problem-solving. I also love the connections and relationships I build with students and their families, in and out of the classroom.
In my free time, I enjoy being actively involved in my parish, Most Holy Trinity, spending time with my family and friends, attending tractor pulls, gardening, and exploring various parts of Minnesota.
