Hello St. Dominic families!
I am thrilled to welcome your children to a new school year! This marks my 8th year on staff at St. Dominic and my 5th year teaching Pre-Kindergarten.
My family moved to Northfield from Northern Wisconsin back in 2019, and we currently live near Circle Lake. My husband, Jim, serves as the Bank President at Community Resource Bank, and we recently celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary. Together, we have raised three wonderful adult children. Vanessa, our oldest, was married this summer to Alan, her boyfriend of over 10 years. She is a Physician Assistant practicing family medicine with U of M-Fairview at the Prior Lake clinic. Erica works as a Process Engineer for Procter & Gamble in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is recently engaged, and we are happily planning another wedding for this upcoming June! Evan, our son and youngest child, is an engineering and mathematics student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is beginning his Junior year and hopes to study abroad this spring semester.
As a UW-Madison alumna myself (Go Badgers!), I hold a degree in psychology with a certificate in gerontology. I spent the first 15 years of my career working with older adults and their families in senior housing and long-term care. Transitioning to education for my second career has been incredibly rewarding—I have taught 4- and 5-year-olds in both public and private settings and I deeply value every connection I make with my students and their families. I especially enjoy sharing my love of Christ and God’s love for all of us with your children.
I can’t wait to meet you and partner with you to help your child grow, learn, and succeed in Pre-K this year. It is going to be an awesome year!
