Hi y’all,
My name is Andrea Redder, and I am the Preschool Teacher here at Saint Dominic Catholic School. I previously taught in the Northfield Public Schools as an Early Childhood Education Teacher and Special Education Assistant. Before that, I was a self-employed licensed childcare provider for 12 years. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University.
Over the years, my connection to Catholic education has been both personal and professional. While our children attended St. Dominic’s, I proudly served as PTA Chair and was a long-standing board member for Saints Night Out. My family and I are active members of the St. Dominic Parish, where our children serve as acolytes and ushers during Sunday Mass.
My husband, Corey, and I have six wonderful children Jayden, Cohen, Skylar, Callyssa, Jocephine, and Charlize and as if our house weren’t full enough, we also have two dogs, Gizmo (a Shorkie) and Lady (a Toy Aussie). We are a proud military family, as Corey has served in the United States Air Force for 29 years, currently stationed at Fort Snelling.
Outside of school, you’ll usually find me at the ball fields cheering on our son’s baseball games and our daughters’ softball teams, or watching our girls dance in competitions and recitals. We love taking road trips and making memories together as a family.
I feel truly blessed to teach at Saint Dominic not only to nurture early childhood development, but also to help each child grow in their individual relationship with God. To me, a Catholic school is more than a place of learning, it is a family and I am grateful and excited to be part of the Saint Dominic family.
