Kimberly Turitto graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Major in Elementary Education with a focus in middle school Language Arts and a minor in Special Education. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona and taught for two years before coming back to the Twin Cities area to teach and attend the University of Wisconsin River Falls for a Masters in School Counseling. After completing her program in 2012 she worked as a high school counselor at a small charter school. She returned to Hamline University to earn her K-12 principal license and completed the graduate program in June of 2017. After working as a principal for two years, she decided to return to school counseling. She is married to her husband Tony and has two young children. In her free time she loves to be active, doing things like running, lifting weights, and yoga. She also enjoy sitting at a coffee shop reading or talking with friends.
